Canadian Headquarters and Advanced R&D Centre
SDP’s head office is located in Dorval, Quebec, Canada. Only 5 minutes away from Montreal’s International airport (Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau – YUL) and 12 minutes from Montreal’s downtown core, SDP is strategically located on the Trans-Canada Highway for easy access.
The primary focus of the Canadian facility is Advanced R&D, prototyping, and concept realization through design engineering (cost reduction). SDP’s commitment to invest in the best people and technology ensures that our solutions surpass expectations. Our highly skilled engineers come to us from all over the globe, and possess in excess of 300 years of collective Microwave and RF experience. They work closely with customers through sample and pre-production development phases to deliver custom-designed to meet the challenges of evolving customer demands. Combined with our Sales team, our customer-oriented professionals provide personalized service and support. China Facilities
The establishment of SDP’s Asian based manufacturing facility in 2004 has be key for SDP to remain cost competitive in the global economy. Based within the Singapore Industrial Park (SIP) adjacent to the ancient city of Suzhou China, SDP’s 44,000 ft2 site is designed for high volume, quick turn, production requirements. Initially focused on optimizing isolator/circulator low cost production, the dynamic team has also expanded to employ in excess of 300 people in support of several of our product families.
In addition to the various Operational departments, we have both Design Engineering and Sales teams based out of Suzhou to support our domestic customers. In addition, we have a satellite Sales office in Shenzhen to better support customers in the southern regions.
India Facilities
SDP is demonstrating its long-term commitment to a local presence within the rapidly expanding Indian technological marketplace with this wholly owned corporate expansion that is geared to the needs of domestic customers.

SDP invested in excess of $8 million USD initially into this new facility within the Oragadam Industrial Growth Centre (SIPCOT), Kanchipuram District which is a SEZ (special economic zone) for Electronic/Hardware and related Support Services. This SIPCOT is part of Chennai’s recent dynamic technology expansion, and as India’s fourth most populous metropolitan area and fifth most populous city, Chennai will certainly support the labour pool required to maintain this state-of-the-art facility. SDP is very proud to be part of this prestigious development, and is committed to supporting the local market across several product categories with superior value solutions.
