I'm a second year student at John Abbott College in the Publication Design and Hypermedia Technology program. This semester we had a course called Web Graphics. We used Adobe Photoshop to creat graphics for the web. Once we did a couple tutorials, we'd do a project with them. Here are the four projects I made:
Project #1
For this project, we had to rebrand a tea shop that had just chagned its name to "Tea is the New Coffee" so that young people age 16 to 24 are attracted to going there. We had to make this page in Dreamweaver.
Project #2
For this project, we had to create a English language Montreal webpage for ANIMA-Quebec, an organization that protects animals against cruelty, persuading Montrealers to adopt from the SPCA or other rescue organizations instead of a pet store. The idea came from the resent rescue of 527 dogs from a puppy mill. We made a comp in Photoshop for this page.
Project#3
For this project, our client wanted us to create a website for her game called Ice Factory. The game is set in the future, where a machine has been create that manufactures
Project #4
For this project, our client was A'Shop, an artist collective that specializes in street art or graffiti. We had to make a comp for them in either grunge or paperbag style.
